It is resistant to seawater as well as alkali, acids and lubricants and the housing made of special compression-molded glass-fiber reinforced polyester that is impact-resistant. The V4A stainless steel keypad withstands high stresses and protects the inner parts of the telephone from damage. The steel-armored handset cord is designed for high tensile strain, adding another layer of protection.
