The Testo 6450 series compressed air flow meter allows an accurate measurement of compressed
air consumption, enabling energy-saving potential to be identified and costs lowered. The
compressed air meters can also be used for the targeted implementation of environmental
management. Another application for the 6450 series is leakage monitoring in a compressed air
system. The compressed air meter can also be used to carry out a peak load analysis in order
to determine whether compressed air of sufficient capacity is being generated. The "all-in-one
sensor" records compressed air consumption and the temperature as well as the pressure,
eliminating the need for a separate pressure measurement.
The Testo 6450 series utilizes the calorimetric measurement principle, making any additional
pressure and temperature measurement redundant, and is not subject to wear on moving parts.
